    Egal raises $4m for period hygiene expansion

    SOMERVILLE - Health and hygiene firm Egal has completed a US$4 million Series A investment round with the funds aimed at further rolling out its ‘Pads on A Roll’ technology, a wrapped super-thin absorbent period pad that dispenses like toilet paper in public bathroom stalls.
