Losses widen at Glatfelter

CHARLOTTE - Nonwovens manufacturer Glatfelter posted a wider loss for its first quarter, hit by a weaker performance in both its airlaid and spunlace segments.

Total net loss for the quarter was $26.2 million, up from a loss of $13.2 million in the same period last year on the back of net sales of $ 327.2 million, down from $378 million over the same period.
