    Asahi Kasei to construct battery separator plant

    Tokyo - Asahi Kasei has announced plans to construct a lithium-ion battery separator plant in Canada.

    Located in Ontario, the ¥180 billion, integrated plant will produce the base film manufacturing and coating of Hipore wet-process lithium-ion battery (LIB) separators.
