Carbios inks further feedstock supply deal

Carbios’ patented process uses engineered enzymes to depolymerise PET back to its monomers

CLERMONT-FERRAND – Carbios has announced a partnership with German waste management specialist Hündgen for the supply of post-consumer feedstock for its PET biorecycling plant.

Under the terms of a memorandum of understanding, the company will supply Carbios with 15,000 tonnes per year of post-consumer PET waste ensuring a steady supply chain for sustainable PET production at the plant in Longlaville.
