  • UK-wide ban on plastic wipe sales

    LONDON – The UK government has announced a ban on the supply and sale of wet wipes containing plastic  in a bid to help tackle plastic pollution and clean up waterways.  

    However, the legislation, which will be introduced this year, stops short of banning the manufacture of these products, in line with other recent single-use plastic bans.
