New cellulose webs for rigid packaging

ESPOOO – Enabled by foam forming technology, formable cellulose-based nonwoven webs with 30% extensibility have been used by the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland to make rigid packages using an industrial product packaging line.

This opens up new options for a wide range of sustainable packaging solutions.
