AALBORG - The Fibertex Personal Care Group is strengthening its position as supplier to the US hygiene industry with the commercial start-up of its second print line at its Asheboro based print facility.
Fibertex introduced print production for its US business four years through its Innowo Print business unit, a move that was seen as an important strategic milestone for the company.
With the market demanding an increase in capacity, this second line was announced in September 2020. "After months of installation and trials, we are now ready for ribbon cutting and commercial start-up of our second print line at our Asheboro based print facility," the company said in a statement. "In the US, Fibertex Personal Care was first on the market to offer print directly on lightweight nonwovens for the hygiene industry, and has continuously established print lines in Germany, Malaysia, and recently in the USA,"
Fibertex Personal Care, which is owned by the industrial conglomerate Schouw & Co., is a global market leader in this field.
