PRESTON – As a dedicated specialist in polypropylene (PP) recycling, Preston Plastics can quickly turn the polymer and fibre waste streams of UK nonwovens manufacturers into revenue streams.
“We don’t see as much polypropylene waste from the nonwovens industry as we do from other sectors such as film production or injection moulding, which is surprising,” said the company’s business development manger Jack Clark in one of a series of online seminars held recently by the UK’s Nonwovens Network. “It could be because companies are not aware of what we can do or how valuable their waste is. We are able to successfully recycle all post-industrial PP and have invested heavily in new reprocessing machinery over the past few years.
