STOCKHOLM - Ahlstrom-Munksjö is now offering its high performance fibre based solutions for the flooring industry under its new FibRoc product platform.
Launched recently for the company's durable nonwovens products sector, the intention of the Fibroc platform is to bring together a wide range of high performance products under the same brand, making it easier for business partners to recognize and understand the offering across the value chain. The FibRoc Flooring product portfolio consists of a wide range of high performance fibre-based solutions for heavy duty, cushion vinyl and luxury vinyl flooring, as well as solutions for carpets and carpet tiles.
The portfolio is bringing together a wide range of high performance products for flooring applications, making it easier for business partners to recognize and understand the product benefits, the company said. "Our high performance products exhibit exceptional dimensional stability and strength,” said Pekka Helynranta, vice president, Glass Fiber Tissue. “Delivering stability and strength to the final flooring product, as well as enabling optimized manufacturing,"

Ahlstrom-Munksjö also highlighted how security of supply is ensured through the main FibRoc manufacturing platforms of Karhula (Finland), Tver (Russia) and Brignoud (France). These three plants are fully certified for quality (ISO 9001), safety (OHSAS 18001), and environmental (ISO 14001) standards.
Further product portfolios from the FibRoc platform will be rolled out during 2021.
