GRONINGEN - During a two-year pilot project in the Netherlands, Teijin Aramid and BioBTX have successfully produced aramid fibres from bio-based benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX) aromatic compound materials.
This will allow Teijin Aramid to improve the environmental impact of its production processes, without altering the material properties of its Twaron products.
