    UK government faces high court challenge over PPE shortages

    LONDON - Doctors, lawyers and campaigners for older people’s welfare have commenced legal proceedings against Matt Hancock, the UK government’s health and social care secretary, over the shortages of of personal protective equipment (PPE) faced by NHS staff during the coronavirus pandemic.
