LEEDS – CuTex is a new geocomposite product developed by GEOfabrics specifically to deal with Japanese Knotweed and other aggressively invasive plants in infrastructure projects.

Native to Japan, Taiwan, China, and the Korean peninsula, Japanese Knotweed was introduced into Europe in the mid-19th Century as an ornamental plant and has subsequently thrived in fertile European soils – it has a high growth rate of up to two metres in 30 days and is now classified as an aggressive weed species with a significant negative impact on the environment where it occurs.
