    Trade body slates EU clean up plans

    Brussels - EuroCommerce, the trade federation for wholesalers and retailers across the EU, has censured the latest proposal by the European Commission to reduce the impact of single-use plastics on the environment, citing how the 'absurd' plans suggest a clean up cost for wet wipes of up to €24,000 per tonne.
