Toray acquires composite company TCAC

TOKYO – Toray Industries is set to acquire TenCate Advanced Composites (TCAC) for an enterprise value of â‚¬930 million. The move is said to benefit both parties, securing a source of highly-specified carbon fibre for TCAC, whilst simultaneously boosting Toray’s portfolio and trade prospects in the area of high-performance thermoplastics and thermoset composites.
