LONDON – A new report by Water UK has identified that a number of nonwoven products are culpable for sewer blockages within the United Kingdom. Following an assessment of over 50 blockage cases throughout the summer of 2017, baby wipes were found to account for 78 per cent of identifiable products, with surface wipes, cosmetic wipes and feminine hygiene products also adding to the issue.
