Korea seeks clarity in sanitary sector

KOREA – South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety says it will form a risk assessment committee to determine the safety of sanitary pads on the market. This follows tests earlier in the year by NGO Korea Women’s Environmental Network (KWEN) which identified the presence of several volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in market available products.
