An ‘intelligent diaper’ could help revolutionise care for incontinence patients in hospitals and nursing homes, with sensor technology allowing care staff to be alerted when it needs to be changed. The disposable diaper is being introduced jointly by Danish company Abena and Silicon Valley based MediSens Wireless.
