An entry proposing the use of filters made of functionalised viscose fibres as a fourth clarification stage in wastewater treatment plants, working to filter out potentially endocrine disrupting substances found in wastewater, has won an innovation competition organised by viscose fibre manufacturer Kelheim Fibres.
