Surfaceskins Limited, a new spin-out from the Nonwovens Innovation & Research Institute (NIRI) and the University of Leeds in the UK, has secured a world patent on its nonwoven-based liquid and gel delivery devices aimed at preventing the spread of healthcare associated infections (HCAIs).
