The ‘first nonwoven material made from yarn’ has been developed by a researcher at Nottingham Trent University, UK. The structure of the material – Zephlinear – produced by yarn surface entanglement, is said to be applicable for the encasing of copper wiring, light emitting diodes (LEDs) and more.
