  • IKEA want to move fast on bioplastics

    Per Stoltz, IKEASwedish home furnishings giant IKEA first employed Ingeo PLA-based nonwovens in its mattresses ten years ago, but as it moves rapidly towards a goal of making all of the plastics used in its products either bioplastics or recycled materials, there are major opportunities for the right suppliers. Ikea wants to achieve its target by 2020 – just four years’ time – and is not alone among major corporations now looking to make good on such commitments.
