Polyester producer and brand Trevira will present its full range of PET speciality fibres at IDEA when it makes its debut appearance at nonwovens and engineered fabrics conference IDEA. The company will present from a joint booth shared between several other Indorama Ventures-owned companies.
Trevira says it is to expand its programme for shortcut fibres, which are used for paper and filtration materials. The company has also recently introduced a modified polymer which imparts fibres with a particularly soft handle and anticipates developing the polymer primarily for uses in hygiene and technical applications.
