Glatfelter is to invest approximately US$80 million to build a new production facility in the USA for its Advanced Airlaid Materials business.
This follows the announcement that during 2015, Oerlikon Neumag installed an airlaid web forming system for the production of hygiene materials for Avintiv – one of the world’s largest producers of nonwoven applications for hygiene, medical and cleaning applications – at its plant in Benson, North Carolina.
