A new independent study on the pharmaceutical properties of cotton has highlighted significant microbial resistance on samples of Purified cotton from total chlorine free (TCF) bleaching specialists Barnhardt Cotton, in comparison to raw and greige cotton. A total microbial plate count and a mould/yeast analysis were prepared for samples of raw, greige and Purified cotton.
