According to a new market report by Smithers Apex, the global nonwovens market will experience projected annual growth rates of an average of 7.6% in tonnage in the next few years.

Geographically, Asia will continue to grow in both tonnage and market share reaching 47.5% of the total market by 2018, with Europe maintaining its second position while North America remains in the third place.
