North America remains buoyant

North America’s nonwovens industry has quadrupled in size between 1999 and 2014, according to the latest data from INDA.

The organisation’s annual North American Nonwovens Supply Report provides key metrics in respect of capacity, production and operating rates by nonwoven process.

It shows that from 1990 to 2014, North American nonwovens capacity has increased on an average of 5.5% per year, outpacing real GDP, which grew at 2.5% per year over the same period.
