At the forthcoming Techtextil 2015 in Frankfurt, Beaulieu Fibres International (BFI) will introduce a number of new polypropylene variants including Trilobal Ultrasoft fibres targeted at achieving softness and system cost reduction in the hygiene market.
The new trilobal fibres enable the production of lightweight nonwoven fabrics with improved coverage and opacity, and better liquid management, while also addressing enhanced requirements for softness for direct skin contact applications. Target applications include baby and facial wipes, topsheets and other components of diapers and feminine napkins.
