The first Cosyflex 3D printed nonwovens mass production line is at the commissioning stage and is now running at Tamicare’s new 1,800-square metre site in Manchester, UK.
“We’re expecting commercial activities early next year and we’re really excited to see this line in operation,” said Tamicare CEO Tamar Giloh, adding that the company’s pilot line has been kept extremely busy creating different samples in response to third party interest.
Tamicare’s technology is comparable to 3D printing, with the Cosyflex fabrics made directly from fibres such as cotton, cellulose, polyamide etc., and different water-borne polymers, including Vytex protein-free natural rubber.
