Operational improvements in Europe, higher global customer volumes in Asia and new levels of vertical integration through expanding the production of basic materials saw Autoneum significantly increase its profits in the first half of 2014.

The global leader in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles saw its net sales in Swiss francs fall 9% to CHF 980.6 million for the period, as a result of the closure of its Italian subsidiary and the drastic devaluation of various currencies.
