Having launched its first commercially-available product " Elute bidegradable, drug-loaded fibres for implantable medical textiles and nonwovens " in April last year, TissueGen ended 2013 by moving into a new manufacturing plant in Dallas, Texas, USA.

The company is now equipped with the on-site certified clean room and a dedicated extrusion room deemed essential as it focuses on the commercialisation of its proven technology for advanced drug delivery and sustained therapeutic release. It intends to apply for ISO 13485 certification this year.
