Shanghai is having two dedicated nonwovens conferences at opposing hotels in the city on the very same dates next month – October 21-22.

Local publishing company Ringier is holding its Ninth Nonwovens Technology Summit at the Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel. Details here.

Meanwhile, UK publisher WTIN is working with US organisations RISI and INDA to stage a separate and new event at the nearby Sheraton Pudong, ‘Nonwoven Market Opportunities: Hygiene and Beyond’. Details here.

It’s a big city, Shanghai, and China’s certainly the biggest market for nonwovens in 2013, with tremendous opportunities going forward.

But co-operation will surely be the key.
