  • Over 100 papers at Dornbirn-MFC

    dornwebMajor fibre producers including Advansa, Asahi Kasei, Cordenka, Kaneka, Kelheim, Lenzing, Radici, Sinetrama and Toyobo will join leading European scientists and researchers in presenting the latest sustainable solutions at the 2013 Dornbirn-MFC (manmade fibre congress) which takes place in Austria from September 11-13.

    Among keynote addresses, Guilio Bonazzi, president of CIRFS will present an overview of Europe’s man-made fibre sector and Yoseung Ho Huvis will do the same for Korea’s industry, with further papers on the markets in India and Indoneia.

    The exciting developments currently underway in the growing market for biopolymers will be the subject of a wide range of papers, including those in cellulosics and PLA, as well as bio-based synthetic alternatives and even opportunities with bacteria and fungi.

    With nonwovens researchers and manufacturres also well-represented in the mix of over 100 papers to be presented over the three days, this year’s Dornbirn-MFC is a ‘must-attend’ event.
