According to UNESCO, there are still 900 million people without adequate access to safe drinking water, indicating a key role for nonwovens and other media in filtration.
At this week’s EDANA Filtrex conference in Cologne, Germany, the focus was very much on the further development of filter media in terms of higher efficiency – notably via the employment of nanofibres – and longer life.
