  • SAP doubles but no pulp in China

    fluffChina is known as the manufacturing engine of the world, but not, it seems, when it comes to the fluff pulp that is employed in combination with nonwovens and superabsorbent polymers in hygienic disposables such as baby diapers.

    Facing an external economic environment ripe with complications and uncertainties and a continuous increase in the prices of commodities, the Chinese government has adopted various macroeconomic regulations and control measures in order to sustain a steady economic growth in China, and this is resulting in many manufacturers, including those for hygienic disposables, focusing much more on serving the domestic market in China.
