Henkel has secured a global patent on an amorphous poly-a-olefin adhesive for use on nonwoven articles which is effective at low application temperatures and as such will allow significant energy savings, among other benefits, to be achieved.
The adhesive is said to be particularly useful in the construction of disposable absorbent articles based on nonwovens such as diapers, femcare products and adult incontinence devices.
