taiFreudenberg Far Eastern Spunweb is investing in a new production line for PET spunlaid nonwovens in Taiwan, with construction to start in 2013.

Taiwan is famously the leader in recycling PET, reclaiming around 90,000 tons of bottles every year – the equivalent to four billion 600ml drinking water bottles and virtually double that reclaimed in the entire  EU.

The new Freudenberg Far Eastern Spunweb line will mainly serve the markets for carpet tiles, automotive interiors, filters and construction.
