New US environmental regulations – particularly those involving emissions from electric utilities and diesel engines and others related to providing better water quality – will help boost the country’s filter market to a value of $12 billion by 2015, according to a new report.
Other contributing factors will include improved manufacturing activity and car production and sales, as well as heightened consumer concerns about air and water quality will boost demand for filters in the residential market providing significant new opportunities for nonwovens.
