New light weight nonwovens, along with higher performing leakage barriers, super soft products and printed materials delivered via Innowo Print – its partly-owned business in Germany – are the current priority of Fibertex Personal Care as it drives to increase its share of specialities.
The company, which has been operating separately to its sister Fibertex Nonwovens since the start of 2011, is now among the world’s five largest manufacturers of spunbond/spunmelt nonwovens for the personal care industry, manufacturing primarily for diapers, sanitary towels and incontinence products.
Its revenue for the nine months of 2011 was DKK 996 million, against DKK 918 million in the year-earlier period. EBIT amounted to DKK 109 million against DKK 107 million in the year-earlier period.
