A series of research projects at Fibre Extrusion Technology (FET) in the UK have resulted in new processing technologies and equipment designs that enable melt spun nonwovens to be successfully produced from high melt viscosity polymers.

These will be outlined by Mark Smith of the company at the forthcoming Nonwovens in High-performannce Applications Conference, which takes place in Cannes, France, from March 4-5.
