Since its establishment in 2003, the Composites Innovation Centre (CIC) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has developed into Canada’s largest composites technology centre. It has initiated 346 projects with 119 industry partners and 40 government agencies and among other things supported Boeing Winnipeg in development options for the new 787 Dreamliner.
Manitoba’s government has just provided the CIC with $2.88 million in funding for the next two years, as part of an ongoing commitment.
