Avocet’s market leading exhaust flame retardant for polyester, Cetaflam DB9, has now received Oekotex accreditation as an approved ‘active chemical product’.

It’s inclusion in the list of active chemical products means it can be used when producing Oeko-Tex certified articles.

“This is a major development and will enable us to further extend the reach of Cetaflam DB9, a product which already has a proven track record in the automotive, home textiles and mass transit sectors,” said managing director Michael Lever.
