Ahlstrom is to once again simplify its business structure in an attempt to achieve a leaner alignment of operations. The new structure will be effective from January 1, 2016.
The business will now be organised into two business areas – Filtration and Performance, and Specialties – down from three in 2015 and five in 2014.
The Filtration and Performance business area will now include the engine and industrial filtration, industrial nonwovens, wallcoverings, building and wind businesses. The Specialties business area will consist of food packaging, masking tape, medical and advanced filtration businesses.
