Nonwoven reprocessing techniques have so far been at the back of what can be done with carbon fibres recycled from composites. And in the latest development, multi-national computer manufacturer Dell is partnering with plastics leader SABIC to introduce such reclaimed carbon fibre into its Latitude and Alienware laptop products.
The aim is to initially prevent approximately 376 tonnes of the material from reaching landfills.
