International technology group Andritz will present a range of spunlace, needlepunch, wetlace, and finishing innovations for nonwovens at ITMA 2015 in Milan.
Showcased technologies will include neXecodry, a drying solution for the spunlace nonwovens industry. The new technology is said to allow nonwovens producers to reduce energy consumption of their spunlace, Wetlace, and Airlace lines and is available for the neXdry and Perfodry through-air dryers.
Wipes produced using the Andritz Wetlace process will be demonstrated with a flushability tester at ITMA 2015. The original Wetlace process combines wetlaid and hydroentanglement technologies, for producing flushable wipes from 100% natural and/or renewable raw materials without chemical binders.
