Representatives from Kimberly-Clark, the North Carolina-based Nonwovens Institute and a number of other leading organisations will speak at the the fibre and nonwovens session which is just one component of the Innovation Takes Root 2014 forum for Ingeo PLA users, to be held in Orlando, Florida from February 17-19.
It will be of particular interest to companies involved in these fields as a result of the recent commercialisation of two new high-performance Ingeo grades which deliver lower shrinkage, faster crystallization and higher melting points across the broad range of manufacturing processes used to produce fibres and nonwovens and also broaden the application window for Ingeo use in the production of personal care and hygiene products, filtration media, medical fabrics, civil engineering, geotextile and agricultural fabrics.
