FULENBACH – At the forthcoming Filtech show in Cologne, Germany from February 14-16, Switzerland’s JCEM Group will launch its latest high-speed filter media pleating machine.

The all-new P8 can achieve record speeds up to 500 pleats minute at pleat heights in the 25-30mm range.

JCEM Group member TAG will also showcase its latest mini-pleating machine characterised by completely new Beckhoff controls and Bosch Rexroth motors and drives. This machine offers many updates such as higher pleating speeds of up to 30 metres per minute, improved web tension control, a new servo unwinder, full synchronization between the mini-pleater and blade pleater, and much simpler integration of additional accessories.

A fully automatic inline slitter blade positioning system is also new. The slit width of the inline shear-cut slitter for multi-layer wire mesh can be changes by the touch of a button and saved with the recipe file for the highest cutting width reproducibility and process optimisation. With no mechanical adjustment from the operator required, and without removing any material, the slit-width can be fully adjusted and fine-tuned in small, precision increments.
