FRANKFURT – The next free VDMA technology webtalk on 29th October 2020 (2-4 pm CEST) will focus on the production and packaging technologies for respiratory protection face masks.

Heiko Irlbacher of Schott & Meissner will introduce his company’s new mask production line for foldable face masks meeting FFP1 and FFP2, as well as N95 or KN95 standards, while Timo Kollmann of Hugo Beck Maschinenbau will outline the different styles and possibilities for packaging masks in film, single-wise or in stacks.

Timo will present best practices on recently delivered machines as well as future concepts. Fabrice Ferretti will also provide details of of the latest Andritz Nonwoven fully-automatic, high-speed-production lines for surgical and FFP masks. “Disposable face masks are now more important than ever,” he says. “Our latest line can reach production speeds of up to 600 pieces per minute.” After the presentations, the three experts will be available to answer questions.
