NEW YORK – Materials science company Circular Systems Social Purpose Corporation (SPC) has claimed the first place in the H&M Global Change Award for its work on converting agricultural, industrial and post-consumer wastes into high value fibres suitable for textiles and nonwovens.

The company was selected from 2,600 applicants from 180 countries for the award, and receives a grant in excess of US$350,000 from the H&M Foundation.
