STOCKHOLM – Leading nonwovens manufacturer Ahlstrom-Munksjö has joined nearly 8,000 companies by committing to the United Nations Global Compact’s 10 principles for ethical business practice. By pledging its allegiance, the filter media, packaging and medical fibre firm will go forward adhering to stringent environmental, labour related and anti-corruption regulations and will communicate annually with its stakeholders to implement more socially responsible and environmentally beneficial working procedures.
