Bulgarian artist Christo is working on a large-scale 'Art in Nature' to build a 3km pier along Lake D'Iseo in Italy that is made out of needle-punched nonwovens supplied by Altex in Germany. Previous projects which have brought environmental artist Christo to public notice worldwide include the wrapping of the Reichstag Building in Berlin and of the Pont Neuf in Paris, as well as the creation of the Valley Curtain in the Rocky Mountains.
